Continuing his grassroots campaign, Vermont Senator and candidate for the Democratic nomination for this year's presidential election, Bernie Sanders, made a visit to Sacramento.
Sanders held the rally on Bonney Field, next to Cal Expo, to a crowd of 15,000 spectators from the northern California area.
Before speaking, local musicians performed as the field and stands swelled and the sun went down.
After being introduced by actor, Danny Glover, Sanders took the stage with his wife to the roar of a crowd who have been waiting hours to hear him speak on a multitude of issues, from equal pay for women, global warming and reducing the student debt.
